A grand Christmas Festival in Palo, Leyte, is celebrated from December 15 to January 8. The local government of Palo, Leyte, launched different activities in line with the holiday season for its citizens. There is also a gift-giving event for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized sectors. Christmas benefits are also given to employees of the city hall. 

A Spanish-style Christmas Village owned by Dr. Rico Absin is also a must-visit spot in Dumaguete City, welcoming guests with its splendor of lights and made to be open to the public with an affordable entrance fee.
