Lucky Mother Wins Grand Prize – a Camella Home

It was more than a dream come true.  It was a life-changing event for Jocelyn Junsay who won a home, courtesy of GMA’s “Kapuso Milyonaryo Season Five Level Up Panalo!” and Camella, the prime real estate brand with the widest geographic reach across the country. Jocelyn won the promo’s grand prize, a Camella house and lot.

Originally from Bacolod, Jocelyn, a single parent of four children, has been moving from house to house, and paying rent for the past 30 years.  She and her brothers moved to Manila after both their parents died.  Forced to care for her four children after separating from her husband, Jocelyn earned a living selling frozen food like longganisa.

“Pero hindi palagi, kapag lang may pang-puhunan,” she said.

Fortunately, her brother, Clemente Diño, lives with them and has been helping with the expenses, including the children’s schooling. Two children are in college, one is in high school, and another is still in grade school. Her siblings abroad help as well.

The fifth run of the GMA’s annual Kapuso Milyonaryo, the station’s biggest promo to date, came to a close with the final draw recently.  When the grand prize winner of a beautiful Camella house-and-lot was announced on-air, Jocelyn was at church.

Winner!

She had no idea she was the grand prize winner.  When she heard her name during the station’s commercial breaks, she still did not believe she had won. She had checked the internet and sadly discovered that someone had the exact same name.  It was only two days later, when a representative from GMA called her personally to say that she had, indeed, won!

Only then did she realize her luck had changed forever.

“Masayang-masaya ako siyempre,” Jocelyn said, “Tapos at least kahit papa’no, malaking bagay, magandang blessing galing kay Lord.”

In Camella Baliwag

Formerly living in Cubao, Jocelyn and her family will move into their beautiful Camella home in Bulacan.  The family chose that particular community because it is close to the children’s schools and where her brother works.

The Junsay’s new home is larger than what they had been used to – but they will soon enjoy the two-story abode, their garden and the community.  Camella Baliwag is beautifully landscaped with tree-lined avenues and refreshing mini-parks and walkways.  The community also offers a clubhouse with swimming pool, children’s playground and basketball court.
