IN PHOTOS: Camella Caravan in Pahiyas Festival

After the success of the previous Camella Caravans in Cebu, Aklan, Iloilo, Laguna, Baguio and Davao, Camella’s year-long special activation program now hits the festive grounds of Southern Tagalog Region by joining the country’s grandest and most colorful harvest festival—Pahiyas!

Pahiyas, a month-long town fiesta in Lucban, Quezon is held in honor of San Isidro Labrador, the Patron Saint of Farmers. The festival, which celebrates the earth’s bountiful harvest, is a vibrant, lively occasion where locals decorate their houses with various produce such as fruits, vegetables, including longganisa, hats, baskets, kiping—a leaf-shaped wafer made of rice—and other homegrown products of the province.
