Camella Celebrates National Camella Day in Bataan

Camella, the country’s largest homebuilder and Vista Land’s flagship brand, kicked off its monthlong, nationwide anniversary celebration – National Camella Day (NCD) – with Color Manila’s “Challenge Run” at CDC Parade Grounds in Clark, Pampanga, and gift-giving and a series of fun activities and entertainment at Vista Mall Bataan.

The heart-pumping 5-kilometer Challenge Run, made more exciting with 20 obstacle courses, gathered thousands of runners, sports enthusiasts and Camella stakeholders at 4 AM.

The celebration continued at Vista Mall Bataan with a motorcade followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked the opening of the banchetto fair and the official launch of “Esang”, the official mascot of Camella’s Lessandra series – the brand’s most affordable line of houses.

“Apart from underlining the legacy and milestones that Camella has reached in over 40 years, the aim of NCD 2018 is to celebrate with our stakeholders the love and pride we share for Camella. Thus, this year’s NCD is encapsulated by a strong, succinct and catchy tagline, ‘Taga-Camella Ako’,” Camella North Luzon Division Head Eduardo Aguilar explained.

“We have dedicated the first half of 2018 into building more and building better. We’ve adapted the best technologies in land development, improved our house specifications, launched our most affordable homes – the Lessandra, and continued transforming our existing residential projects into communicities,” Aguilar said.

“This is what we’re celebrating: a Camella that builds for its residents, a place where homeowners are proud to be home, a community where everyone can proudly say, ‘Taga-Camella ako’,” Aguilar added.

Aside from the festivities shared with the various stakeholders of the Camella community, NCD-Bataan likewise expanded its activities to benefit and give back to the community. In a gift-giving activity, more than 150 children beneficiaries from Brgy. Cupang, Balanga City received loot bags and groceries from All Day Supermarket, boxes of pastries from Bake My Day, and stuffed toys from Finds Finds. A handful of lucky winners from the raffle draw likewise received gift certificates from AllHome and vouchers from Coffee Project.

Various activities were lined up in the afternoon to entertain the children such as balloon twisting, bubble show, magic show, and a ventriloquist act. To cap off the festivities, The Voice Kids Grand Finalist Sassa Dagdag and the 5-member band sensation BoybandPH staged a back-to-back concert, punctuated by the premiere of Camella’s first installation of its 3-part web series or digiserye that highlights Lessandra. The two remaining short films from the lighthearted digiserye are scheduled for release on the other upcoming NCD events.

First launched at Vista Mall Taguig in 2017, this year’s NCD is a monthlong celebration highlighted by weekly events across the country, on the following schedules: August 12 at Lanang Business Park, Davao City; August 18 at Vista Mall Iloilo, Oton, Iloilo City; and August 25 at Vista Mall Daang Hari, Cavite.
