Savannah Plants a Greener Legacy on Its Silver Anniversary

Savannah in Iloilo has celebrated its silver anniversary with a purposeful close: a tree-planting activity titled ‘Little Hands, Big Trees’.

Savannah, one of the most expansive Vista Land communities in the country, has celebrated its silver anniversary with a purposeful close: ‘Little Hands, Big Trees,’ a tree-planting activity held in partnership with St. John’s Wort Integrated School, St. Padre Pio Church, and Georgia, a prime Vista Estates development, Vista Land’s collection of master planned communities.

The event formed part of the Vista Land GreenViron Sustainability Initiative, a nationwide program designed to integrate eco-friendly practices into community building. In line with the anniversary theme, ‘My Heart. My Home. My Savannah,’ the occasion transformed commemoration into commitment, showing how a flourishing lifescape can fuel a future of sustainability.

Lily Donasco, Head of Vista Land Estate Management in the Visayas, who spearheaded the meaningful activity, welcomes partners and participants.

Planting the promise

The program opened with messages of goodwill and gratitude, as parents, children, students, residents, and partners all joined in planting seedlings. As is Savannah, even these small actions can grow into something lasting and life-giving. For over 25 years, the residential development has grown from a vision into a thriving community of families who call it home. Each tree planted represented the same promise: that with care and compassion, what begins small can shape the landscape of tomorrow.

Lily Donasco, Vista Land Head of Estate Management in the Visayas, captured this sentiment, saying, “The tree-planting activity is more than an environmental gesture; it is our gift to the future generations. Each seedling planted today will stay with Savannah, standing as a living legacy to the fact that great things happen when communities come together. We are grateful to each one of you, who brought not only support, but also a shared responsibility aligned with the sustainability efforts of Vista Land—showing that true development extends beyond structures to embrace stewardship of the land.”

Savannah is part of Georgia by Vista Estates, a multi-awarded Vista Land master planned development that has redefined the residential landscape of Iloilo.

Fortifying excellence

Savannah is a proud part of Georgia by Vista Estates, a Vista Land master planned development that has redefined the residential landscape of Iloilo. Recognized by PropertyGuru with the Highly Commended Award for Best Township Development this 2025, Georgia exemplifies the vision of an integrated community. It was also hailed as the Best Mixed-Use Development in Visayas and Mindanao by Lamudi The Outlook 2023: Philippine Real Estate Awards.

Since its inception, Savannah has offered Spanish Mediterranean-inspired homes, state-of-the-art amenities, and a secure environment that fosters both convenience and connectivity. The multi-phased neighborhood has consistently set the standard for modern living, serving as a model for communities in the region.

Families, students, and partners all came together to plant seedlings. Each tree planted represented the same promise: that with care and compassion, what begins small can shape the landscape of tomorrow.

The natural beauty of Savannah, enhanced by landscaped greenways and leisure hubs, promotes wellness and well-being. Every home is designed to strike a balance between form and function, creating dynamic living spaces that cater to the diverse needs of Filipino families. Complementing these residences is a suite of amenities that spans lifestyle, leisure, and everyday essentials, enriching the rhythm of daily life.

Savannah also distinguishes itself with two residential enclaves: The Grove, ideal for those who seek vitality and vibrance, and The Orchard, a sanctuary for those who prefer laid-back living. This duality ensures Savannah continues to fulfill distinct aspirations while maintaining its stature as a premium address.

Students from St. John’s Wort Integrated School in Savannah participated in the event,  transforming commemoration into commitment and showing how a flourishing lifescape can fuel a future of sustainability.
