Camella Celebrates Their 46th Anniversary with A Nationwide Color Run

In line with their 46th anniversary and compelling presence in the real estate industry, Camella celebrates another milestone year with activities that highlight the importance of building and strengthening their communities — both internal and external.

Community building provides opportunities and avenues for social support, mental health, and security, both for its valued residents as well as treasured stakeholders. Ultimately, it propels the growth of the country’s economy. The preferred housing brand recognizes the value of strengthening bonds between communities as an essential factor in the development of the country.

Camella, the Philippines’ largest homebuilder, has provided over 500,000 families with beautiful homes across the islands. Its legacy in building quality homes within master-planned communities is well-known here and beyond. The brand provides relaxed environments that nurture family ties and community pride that only draw residents who believe in the same home-centered values and homegrown ideals.

Camella brings the Colors of Fun and Pride to its Communities

A Color Run is an event that brings in the fun and camaraderie in physical activity, turning a challenging run into a colorful event. Rather than a highly charged, competitive race, the Camella Color Run was an event to keep active while enjoying the company of others.

Camella is a staunch believer in strengthening bonds between people in their communities.  Apart from encouraging physical fitness, the color run also promoted inclusivity, emboldening people to interact and make friends.

On The Move: Camella’s Nationwide Color Run

Camella’s 46th-year celebration was full of delight and vibrance as it opened the Color Run to everyone who was up for some muscle work. The indulgent crowd was a happy mix of employees, homeowners, business partners, families, and even professional runners. Interestingly, there were also participants who brought their paw friends to the event.

Participation came far and wide, with the following communities joining in the activity: Camella Baliwag, Camella San Ildefonso, Camella Batangas, Camella Quezon, Camella Capas, Camella Tarlac, Camella Tanza, Camella Laoag, Camella Bantay, Camella Candon, Camella Wedgewood, Camella Sta. Maria, Camella Provence, Camella Balanga Heights, Camella Sorrento, Camella Santiago, Camella Gapan, Camella Cauayan, Camella Nueva Ecija, Camella San Jose Del Monte, Camella Sierra, Camella Malvar, Camella Naga, Camella Capiz, and Camella Koronadal.

There were a number of communities that conducted their color run with a twist — obstacle courses, rope crawls, swimming pool obstacle course — adding a little extra challenge and excitement to the run.

After a pre-run calisthenic session, the participants were splashed with water before they positioned themselves at the beginning line.

Stationed at every 1.5 km- mark were water stations where runners were allowed to rehydrate. Within the same water station, participants were splashed with a color indicating they had passed through a certain mark. Having all three colors on their shirts and bodies means that they have covered all marks and run the whole track.

A hearty breakfast was waiting for all participants as they crossed the finish line. An awarding for the top three winners of the race ensued, earning themselves medals and gift prizes.

Blank art walls were set up in each community that joined in the color run. In the unfilled canvases,  participants get to leave their handprints, marking their support and participation in the event. More than just a handprint on an art wall, this closing ceremony was a meaningful gesture as it showed each one that they are very well part of a bigger Camella family.

It was a fulfilling moment for every participant — looking at the art wall with all the colorful handprints. It showed them that they are part of a collective.
